All Medem control panels have the capacity to be connected to a fire panel, so in the event of an alarm, our systems can isolate the gas supply.

Although a vital safety feature it can prove inconvenient when testing and servicing the fire alarm system.

]]> The FTIP-1 is designed to sit between our standard gas control systems and the fire alarm panel. When activated it will isolate the two systems from each other allowing the fire alarm to be tested without interrupting the gas supply.

This is a key controlled and timed (max 45 min) isolation, that if not manually reset will do so automatically after the period set during installation.
